Stumbling across the perfect wave, two surfers start a chain reaction of unintended consequences…

In this story surfers are the new colonials… Innocent travelling hippies with no idea of the culture they are walking into or the baggage they unintentionally carry. They find their holy grail but the dark side is malaria, black magic and the case of a missing girl from their travelling group. They also unwittingly open the door to the devastating destruction of the pristine paradise they ‘discovered’ as the secret travels fast, far and wide... this odyssey through time looks at the big picture from the history of the island of nias to the first surfers arrival in the 1970’s and then the development of the point through time... the point serves as a microcosm, with a universal story that applies to many places around the world and asks the question of what happens after you discover paradise?
